What changed
The CFTC published an advance notice of proposed rulemaking seeking public comment on its intent to set rules for retail commodity transactions involving crypto assets (CTXs) under section 2(c)(2)(D) of the Commodity Exchange Act, including a new subcategory of designated contract market registration called a crypto asset market. The CFTC says comments must be received within 60 days of publication in the Federal Register.
